Albania has a city with 1000 windows...
After a 10-year break, we returned to Albania to compare how it was 10 years ago and how it is now, and to confirm and show our viewers that the Albanian mafia is a thing of the past and that Albania is now taking its direction as one of the southern countries where tourism is developing every day.
Our trip's sponsor, this time, is the travel agency Itaka, and we flew to Albania on their organized direct flight.
At the airport, their person meets us, gets everyone on buses, and in just 40 minutes, we are at the hotel!
We spend one full day at the hotel, on the beach, and in the nearby surroundings, but on the second day, we rent a car and drive to the town of Krujë, where we meet Vita, a Latvian girl who has been living in Albania for many years.
She shows us this beautiful town, and then we go up the mountain to an interesting holy place, and at the end of the day, we also visit Tirana.
After saying goodbye to Vita, the next day we pack all our bags and drive to the city of a thousand windows, Berat, where a guide awaits us and shows us his hometown, while Lelde, together with Albanian hostesses, prepares lunch for us.
In the evening, we head to the town of Vlora, where we stay overnight before heading to the very south of Albania.

Just like in the Maldives, but in Albania...
In the 2nd episode about Albania, we wake up in the town of Vlorë and head to the very south of Albania, crossing a mountain range along the way, which offers magnificent views of the sea, mountains, and nearby towns.
The road to the town of Sarandë winds along the sea, and here we see the real Albania.
We will spend the following nights in a cozy hotel right on the seashore, from which we can watch the sunset over the sea in the evenings, and have breakfast with a view of Corfu Island.
We dedicate part of one day to relaxing on the famous beaches of Ksamil and verifying that they are indeed similar to the beaches of the Maldives. In the evenings, we go out to eat in the streets of Sarandë and experience the kindness of the local people.
We take a boat trip along the Ionian Sea coast, searching for the most beautiful beaches, but before returning to Tirana, we also visit the town of Gjirokastër.
