To Albania in this car? Crazy trip! Latvia - Albania!

Our biggest, most expensive, and most adventurous road trip to Albania in 2025.
We bought an old Dodge Ram, completely rebuilt and repaired it, and on the morning of August 10th, we set off for Albania.
We spent 6 days on the road, and it wasn't without incidents, but we saw and experienced a lot.
We will show the entire journey in 5 episodes and really hope to show you all the best parts.
Stepping out of one's comfort zone is not easy at all, but we quickly got used to it; we cooked our own meals, set up our own camping spots, and did absolutely everything ourselves.
Perhaps this type of travel won't appeal to everyone, but we loved it.
We are already planning our next trip and can't wait to go on it.

Albanian adventure, episode 2.
Having reached Albania and met the rest of the team, we are ready to embark on our 10-day expedition through the Albanian mountains. The first narrow roads, the first incident, the first mountain experience, the first wild camps, and the first impressions of the nature of this beautiful land.

African mess in Albania! | Jeep trip

Adventure Episode 3.
We wake up at a campsite by the lake, getting ready to catch the ferry that will take us for several hours across Lake Koman, where we'll enjoy fantastically beautiful mountain views. But getting to the ferry is an adventure in itself.
The day will be spent driving through mountains and on real off-road tracks, and in the evening, instead of a campsite, we'll try to get internet access with the help of a drone.
The next day, more mountains, large rocks on the roads, and plenty of beautiful Albania.
In this episode, we will introduce you to our Albanian guide, Freddy.

The Albanian adventures continue, and this series could be titled - "overcoming all the rocks of Albania"!

The Craziest Night in the Albanian Mountains!

We took this night as a memory, and we certainly did.
This trip also proved that all complications and difficulties are what remain most vividly in memory.
The crazy wind at night and the morning rain were a great test for our camp and for us, but we passed it with flying colors; even the wet Sony camera held up well and worked as if nothing had happened after a day spent in rice.
During the day, we dried all our clothes on Mussolini's road, but in the evening, we were pitied and spent the night in a guesthouse.
The next day, we visited the city of Berat, also known as the city of 1000 windows, and we watched the sunset high in the mountains, with a view of the sea and the second highest mountain, Tomor.

Adrenaline, Fear, and a Feeling of Happiness, Will We Make it Up the Mountain?

The final episode from Albania, and finally we face the mountain that the group leader, Artūrs, had been warning us about for so long. Adrenaline, fear, and a feeling of happiness all at once. Was it worth it?
