Visiting a primary school in Sri Lanka, emotions and tears of joy!

Our team has visited a primary school in Sri Lanka that suffered from the 2004 tsunami and has been rebuilt with funds donated by people from Latvia.
It was an emotionally rich day for us, the children, the teachers, and the children's parents. We brought letters written by students from Dobele Gymnasium to this school, and in return, we received drawings from the youngest students.
After school, we headed to the ocean, where we had lunch at a beautiful cafe. On the way to the hotel, we tried Sri Lankan fishing from a specially tied wooden perch.
In the evening, dancing on the beach sands and a night at a hotel where the main decor is an elephant.
The next day, a tour of the nearby town, a visit to a turtle farm, and an evening at a wonderful and romantic guesthouse.
